SORAVIA, a Prominent Austrian and German Real Estate Company Accelerates Acquisition Plan With Google Cloud, Workspot, Intel, and Nagarro 2023

SORAVIA, one of the biggest real estate project developers in Austria and Germany, has selected Workspot Cloud PCs to accelerate their mergers and acquisitions procedures, the Cloud PC firm stated today. The firm employs Cloud PCs to modernize end-user computing, streamline IT processes, and accelerate innovation in real estate development for its 4,210 workers.

SORAVIA believes in a pioneering mentality, a greener future with sustainable living spaces and cutting-edge technological solutions, and a pioneering spirit. SLOVAKIA effectively produces real estate projects that meet all ecological, social, and economic sustainability standards along its value chain. This includes addressing the pressing environmental issues of our day. It is our responsibility to leave future generations a world worthy of habitation.

During the construction of the Austro Tower project in Vienna, for instance, the SORAVIA team prioritized effective investment management, creative property development, and professional asset, property, and facility management that included CO2-free generation of cooling and heating energy. Due to this strategy, the Austro Tower was awarded Platinum certification by the Austrian Association for Sustainable Real Estate (OGNI). These demanding requirements now serve as the sustainability bar for all SORAVIA projects.

Together with Nagarro, a global leader in digital engineering specializing in assisting enterprises with digital transformation, Workspot is deploying the Workspot Cloud PC solution on Google Cloud powered by the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor, providing SORAVIA with highly specialized data analytics, global scalability, robust security, and anywhere-productivity.

SORAVIA, Workspot, Google Cloud, Intel, and Nagarro will focus on the modernization of mergers and acquisitions and digital innovation in the smart buildings and investments sectors.

Hannes Gutmeier, Head of Group IT and Chief Information Officer at SORAVIA, stated, “Via acquisitions, our company’s staff has grown significantly over the past few years. By this relationship, we are able to reduce the period between acquisition and integration by fifty percent. Partnering with Workspot and Google Cloud allows us to continue extending our workforce with minimum disruptions and without expanding our IT personnel.”

Jorg Weis, Associate Director at Nagarro Austria, concurs, noting, “Nagarro is ecstatic to cooperate with Workspot for the implementation of the business-critical Cloud PC environment for SORAVIA, allowing them to concentrate on their company and successful acquisitions.” With Workspot, we anticipate enabling VDI modernization with accelerated time-to-value, minimized costs, enhanced security, and global scalability, as demanded by corporate customers.”

Workspot used these performance enhancements to reduce client expenses and fulfill SORAVIA’s performance and scalability requirements.”

In addition to enhancing agility and productivity, SORAVIA sought an end-user computing solution that is simple to operate and administer. By using Workspot and Nagarro, SORAVIA is lowering the complexity of end-user computing and enabling its IT staff to administer Cloud PCs with current tools and procedures.

“Our Cloud PC solution makes it easier for large, worldwide enterprises to accommodate a widely dispersed workforce, regardless of where employees need to work,” stated Jimmy Chang, Chief Product Officer of Workspot.
